Sorry it took long for me to respond to this question. I am still getting used to blogging on the internet. I went to a workshop all about the dangers of kids blogging like that myspace.com that is now so popular. To answer your question I have two computers in my classroom. One if for my own personal use for teaching and only one is used by the kids. They use it during centers and as a free choice. They read and listen to books on CD roms and go to educational websites like starfall.com. I wish I had a large monitor that was connected to my computers to instruce them and guide som literacy instruction, but unfortunately I don't. I think I bneed to be more creative anf work with what I have, which is not much!

First Class
